This application facilitates the programming and management of various functionalities within your free@home system, ranging from blinds, lights, and heating to air conditioning, scenes, time programs, Philips Hue, and Sonos devices.

Through the inclusion of myBuildings remote access feature, users can conveniently link the app with their free@home system over the Internet. This connectivity allows you to effortlessly monitor and control your home from any location globally and access the current "house status."

The latest iteration of the ABB-free@home® Next app introduces four distinct pages dedicated to overseeing and regulating different aspects of your free@home system. These pages are accessible through the lower control bar:

  This section provides a comprehensive snapshot of your home environment:

  • The "Status" tiles offer insights into the operational status of lights, shutters, open windows, and the alarm system. Users can easily toggle functions by interacting with these tiles.
  • The "Weather" display showcases real-time weather data from your free@home weather station.
  • The "Next switching times" segment outlines upcoming automated functions. Events can be temporally suspended with a simple slider adjustment.
  • The "Favorites" section allows customization by selecting preferred functions via the "star" symbol for quick access.
• EQUIPMENT

  Access all devices linked to your free@home setup categorized by trades or installation locations.

• AUTOMATION

  View and manage automated processes such as timers, scenes, and actions with ease.

  Find additional features like the Notification Center and MyBuildings section for enhanced control and information access.

Minimum Requirements: To utilize this app effectively, ensure compatibility with a firmware version 2.5.0 or higher for your ABB-free@home system. Integration of the free@home system into your home network along with a Wi-Fi connection is mandatory for accessing system functionalities via mobile devices using the app.
